A New Dawn Arises: The Vision

For Apple Music's "A New Dawn Arises" campaign, I embraced the challenge of encapsulating the fresh start of each day through music. My design philosophy centred on the serene moments at dawn, aiming to provide users with a soundtrack that perfectly complements the tranquility and potential of the early morning. As a Product Designer, I crafted a user interface that mirrored the calm and rejuvenating qualities of dawn, with gentle transitions and a soothing colour scheme that gradually welcomes the day.

Interactive and Personalised Experience

The campaign's interactive experience was tailored to create a personal morning ritual. Users were greeted with a gentle interface that suggested playlists based on their previous evening's listening habits, offering a seamless transition into the new day. The design included subtle animations that mimicked the sunrise, with the UI elements brightening as the day progressed. This personalised approach aimed to make each user's morning feel special, as if Apple Music was their own personal sunrise, awakening them with melodies curated just for them.

Engaging the Community

"A New Dawn Arises" was more than a campaign; it was a community movement. I integrated social features that allowed users to share their 'dawn playlists' and connect with others experiencing the same songs as the sun rose in different parts of the world. This global exchange of music and moments fostered a sense of unity and shared experience, reinforcing the idea that every new day brings a universal opportunity for a fresh start. The campaign resonated deeply, reminding users that with every sunrise, Apple Music offers a new soundtrack for the possibilities that lie ahead.
